Mike Hanna

I consider myself an intermediate woodworker with a lot to learn. I mostly build cabinets and furniture as well as repair them and install a wide variety of trim. I install kitchen cabinetry and counter tops. As much as I have to learn I love to teach others what I have already learned, weather it is a formal paid class, a guild organized event or just casual conversation, it’s very rewarding to teach others that are interested in woodworking. I enjoy making unique and challenging projects and using different types of woods and combining various types of materials. I like to design my own projects that are inspired by others works as well as making a quick and easy project from a set of plans. As a woodworker I would like to increase my knowledge in the use of hand tools and create a piece of furniture without using any power tools.
